The department provides a wide range of learning and development support and services.
The department provides policy leadership, plans for the future of education in Victoria and leads key cross-sector collaboration. The department plays an important system steward role by providing support, guidance, oversight and assurance across early childhood and school education systems, as well as directly providing school education and 50 new early learning centres.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Grants and Procurement Services team is working to implement a technology solution built on Salesforce that will manage the Department of Education’s grants to external providers.

The Senior Project Advisor will play a pivotal role in delivering this solution by working across the organisation, in collaboration with Information Management and Technology Division and the chosen supplier. The role will perform project management / business analysis and support the development of a grants management system by:

  • Identifying, documenting, reviewing and transforming existing business processes and requirements by liaising with internal stakeholders to understand the business’ needs
  • develop high quality project documentation including plans, presentations and briefs
  • lead change management among grant managers, including training preparation and delivery
  • track and report on project progress, milestones, risks, and outcomes.
