Organizational Context and Scope Under the overall supervision of the Director of the Climate Action Division (CAD), direct supervision of the Chief of CMIL, and in close collaboration with IOM Italy as well as relevant units at Headquarters, Regional Offices, and project partners, the Senior Project Associate (Climate Mobility Innovation Lab) will support the implementation, coordination, programme communications, monitoring, and reporting of CMIL activities in the Mediterranean and globally. As it relates to media and communications, close coordination with relevant IOM Media and Communications teams will be important. CMIL aims to strengthen coordination, develop innovative climate mobility solutions, support resilience and displacement prevention, and build institutional and community capacities. In support of these objectives, CMIL prioritizes strategic communications, knowledge dissemination, and visibility so that evidence, innovations, and lessons learned inform policy, programming, and stakeholder engagement. The Senior Project Associate (Climate Mobility Innovation Lab) will provide operational, technical, and coordination support for the delivery of activities, knowledge products, multi-stakeholder engagement, and monitoring processes.
Responsibilities
The Senior Project Associate will support the implementation, coordination, and reporting of Climate Mobility Innovation Lab (CMIL) activities in the Mediterranean and globally. They will also manage strategic communications, knowledge dissemination, and multi-stakeholder engagement to inform policy and programming.
