JOB OVERVIEW

Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is looking for a dynamic, strategic and results-driven professional to join our team in the role of Senior Project Assurance Coordinator.
Reporting to the Manager Projects, this position is responsible for Project Assurance, oversight, coordination, and leadership.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead and coordinate review boards and panels for Darlington and Pickering Refurbishment, SMR’s, and related projects, including logistics and documentation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Advise on assurance processes, develop and monitor action plans, and serve as the main contact for Project Assurance and OPG-Bruce Power Collaboration activities.
  • Manage integrated assurance plans and coordinate preparation, review, and approval of Terms of Reference for external assessments.
  • Prepare and submit project assurance reports and documentation to the Major Projects Committee; write and revise Project Assurance PgMPs and frameworks.
  • Oversee communications, FOI requests, internal self-assessments, and support continuous improvement and strategic planning initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4 years bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6-8 years of experience in Project administration includes reporting, planning, coordination, and contract oversight.
  • Facilitating clear and impactful communication with external stakeholders, board members, and the leadership team.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Suite Products.
  • Strong report writing and comprehension skills.

    The base salary range considers many factors including, but not limited to experience, education, and training, including any collective agreement requirements for union represented positions. It is not typical for the salary to be offered near the top of the range, and salary is dependent on numerous factors.
