Position Summary We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Project Controller to join ONEX River Fabrication Shop. This fulltime role will be responsible for controlling the project cost; this includes LEMs creation, planning, developing, controlling, client invoicing and forecasting the project's budget. Evaluating project and conducting cost analysis. Responsibilities include: Daily LEMs creation and submission to Project Managers. File and save 3rd party LEMs to project for costing. Assist with developing and implement project cost control strategies, coding and methods. Collaborate and assist cost control team. Importing estimate/budgets into project software and tracking. Cost monitoring, control and closing. Analyze and control cost trends, reports on trends, and monitor cost. Identify, evaluate, and communicate financial risks to the project manager. Ability to create and maintain detailed cost reports and assist project managers with forecasts. Create and issue invoices for project manager approval, including correspondence with Accounts Receivable and client clarification. Assist Project Managers with client specific cost related reports and forecasts Our Ideal Candidate Degree or Diploma in related field or equivalent work experience. 15+ years of proven experience as accountant, project controls or project coordinator within an industrial construction environment. Proficiency with various software such as; Sage, SharePoint, MS Office, Adobe, Excel and Outlook. Excellent attention to detail, organizational and multitasking skills. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Ability to communicate effectively in person, on the phone and/or via email. Preferred knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
