You’ll Be Responsible For: Serving as a client-facing senior project controls lead who assists with strategic, tactical, and technical advice. Managing and growing cost management teams or accounts. Interfacing with clients, external and internal consultants at all project stages. Conducting feasibility studies and production of procurement reports. Producing of ROMs for new and pipeline projects for a project budget to be based on. Day-to-day cost management of medium-large scale client projects including procurement, pay requests, change management and cost reporting. Applying value management techniques at the outset of a project involving existing protocols and systems. Managing, estimating and cost planning activities to include taking ownership of and presenting the final cost plan. Managing the procurement process, ensuring that all stages including, pre-qualification, enquiry, evaluation, selection and contract preparation are performed effectively. Ensuring that post contract cost variances, change control, cost checking and valuation processes are managed effectively. Ensuring the production of monthly post contract and cost reports and presenting them to the client. Providing value engineering and life cycle costing. Managing the final account negotiation and agreement. Ongoing updating of benchmarking efforts as new projects are executed to provide real cost data to client. You’ll Need To Have: You will have relevant degree (MS or MBA preferred). You have demonstrated capital program leadership experience. Effectively, managed integrated team(s) on large complex and multi-phase Life Science and Industrial Manufacturing capital programs. You have knowledge of multiple project delivery methods, including alternative project delivery (Design Build and Construction Manager at Risk). The estimated salary for this position is $125,000.
