WHO YOU ARE This Darwin-based role will manage the coordination and delivery of fit out and finishes packages on construction projects. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate: Tertiary or Certificate qualifications in Construction or a related field, or 5+ years of relevant experience Strong experience delivering fit out and finishes scopes on commercial or residential projects ($10M+) Solid understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and finishes-related scope requirements Strong technical knowledge of fit out systems and materials including flooring, joinery, cladding, and ceiling systems Proven experience coordinating subcontractors and site activities Strong understanding of safety, quality control, and compliance within construction environments Ability to manage documentation, reporting, and site records with high attention to detail Effective communication skills with the ability to coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders WHAT YOU'LL DO Support the Project Manager and Senior Site Manager in planning, scheduling, and coordinating site works Monitor progress of fit out and finishes works against programme and address delays or issues Maintain accurate records of materials, subcontractor activities, inspections, and completed works Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and material schedules to ensure alignment with project scope Track and communicate variations or changes in scope to the Project Manager Coordinate subcontractors across fit out and finishes trades, ensuring timely delivery and installation Attend site meetings and inspections related to joinery, flooring, finishes, and related works Ensure subcontractors meet project requirements for safety, quality, and programme Inspect works to ensure compliance with specifications, design intent, and quality standards Identify and address defects across fit out elements including flooring, cabinetry, and finishes Ensure all works comply with building codes, project specifications, and DCOH safety systems Conduct safety inspections and audits, ensuring adherence to SWMS and safe work practices Maintain accurate site documentation including checklists, coordination logs, and quality records Coordinate with consultants, designers, and subcontractors to resolve design and access issues Build and maintain strong working relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders Contribute to a collaborative team environment and represent DCOH professionally at all times WHAT’S NEXT If you are interested in this position, please submit your CV and cover letter which describes who you are and addresses the criteria detailed above.
