Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible. Job Description: Senior Project Coordinator Qatar Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Project Coordinator to join our team in Qatar! In this role, you will lead the coordination, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Document Control System (DCS) and associated project coordination processes, ensuring that all documents received or issued are handled with a zero‑error target, tracked, filed, and archived in line with client rules and procedures. You will oversee a team and work closely with multiple departments and external stakeholders to drive consistency, transparency, and efficiency in documentation, project workflows, and information flow across the organization. What You’ll Be Doing Developing and implementing an efficient document control system to facilitate document management, archiving, and retrieval processes. Coordinating the safekeeping of all departmental documentation, ensuring that documents received and issued are handled correctly, filed, and archived with a zero‑error target. Reviewing client document control policies and procedures and performing gap analyses to identify areas for improvement. Recommending, designing, and implementing advanced systems and processes to enhance document control and project coordination in alignment with industry best practices. Conducting regular file validation audits to ensure compliance with client quality and regulatory standards, and identifying gaps for corrective actions. Ensuring strict adherence to internal operating procedures for document submission, retention, destruction timelines, and regulatory compliance. Ensuring compliance with internal document naming conventions and standards. Ensuring that incoming and outgoing emails are logged and that related actions are followed up in a timely manner. Facilitating effective communication between internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment on document control processes and wider project coordination requirements. Monitoring progress on action plans across relevant departments, ensuring timely completion of tasks related to document management and coordination. Developing comprehensive status reports on ongoing applications, projects, and document control performance metrics for senior management review. Performing other duties and responsibilities as needed, and determining and managing priorities with minimal guidance. What Required Skills You’ll Bring Bachelor’s Degree in Information Management (highly recommended), Business Administration, or a related discipline. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in document control system development and project coordination, including experience leading a team. Experience with Integrated Workplace Management Systems (IWMS) or equivalent platforms. Understanding of building permit processes and related documentation workflows. Proficiency in relevant software and applications such as MS Office (with advanced Excel), Adobe, and EDMS (Electronic Document Management Systems) solutions. General knowledge of real estate or facilities management operations. What Desired Skills You’ll Bring Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.
