This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a leading renewable energy initiative, focusing on the development and operational execution of utility-scale energy storage projects. As the demand for renewable infrastructure solutions grows, your contributions will directly impact the successful launch and management of various projects. With the company expanding its Project Development Team across the United States, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and acquiring key land opportunities for growth in the renewable energy sector. \n Accountabilities Identify, research, prospect, and site land opportunities for utility-scale renewable energy projects. Manage initiatives related to site acquisition, financing, and development of energy storage projects. Negotiate site control agreements with landowners for renewable and energy storage projects. Support development activities for ongoing projects, focusing on tax abatement, permitting, and environmental compliance. Requirements 3-5+ years of experience in utility-scale renewable energy or energy storage. Hands-on experience with real estate transactions and contracts for renewal projects. Understanding of the RFP/RFI process related to project development. Experience in project siting, permitting, and due diligence for renewable projects. Strong negotiation skills and experience in land acquisition. Familiarity with energy storage or solar + storage projects is a huge plus.
