QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A degree in Engineering, Science, Manufacturing, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a similar capacity with a robust understanding of technical concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Capability to analyze complex challenges and exercise informed judgment within established guidelines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse groups and maintain productive relationships with collaborators.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey ideas respectfully and tactfully.
  • Proven experience working collaboratively in a dynamic, goal-oriented environment.
  • Background in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or other regulated industries is preferred; candidates from other fields are also encouraged to apply.
  • Familiarity with financial systems and budget management, along with an understanding of procurement and contracting processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in engineering, project management, or operations is highly valued.
Responsibilities
  • Independently strategize and carry out small to medium-scale projects within your area of engineering expertise, employing conventional methodologies for effective planning and analysis.
  • Oversee several simultaneous projects, ensuring timely completion by setting and monitoring schedules while working collaboratively with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Manage project control measures and reporting concerning costs, scope, and timelines, while formulating and executing strategies that effectively balance competing demands.
  • Conduct economic assessments and feasibility analyses for project options, taking responsibility for meeting financial objectives in alignment with business goals.
  • Perform benchmarking against industry standards, leveraging a variety of data insights to foresee and prepare for future developments.
  • Continuously monitor environmental changes, readying the team for potential challenges and opportunities based on emerging indicators.
  • Design and implement products, processes, equipment, and systems by applying innovative engineering theories and methodologies.
  • Lead intricate experiments that involve numerous variables, collect and analyze data, and present findings and actionable recommendations to stakeholders across different levels of the organization.
  • Adapt designs for intermediate challenges, producing detailed specifications for complex components and processes.
  • Evaluate complex interdisciplinary issues, testing hypotheses and providing recommendations while considering broader organizational and financial implications.
  • Drive enhancements in methods, designs, and processes, actively promoting the adoption of fresh ideas and best practices to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Cultivate open and collaborative relationships with colleagues, contractors, and vendors by understanding their requirements and fostering shared objectives.
  • Provide mentorship by sharing your technical knowledge and offering guidance within the team and across various functions.
