With early works and site preparation complete, we are starting the main works and looking to add a Senior Project Engineer to our team. This role will be based on-site in Port Lincoln. The Opportunity: The Senior Project Engineer supports the Construction Manager in achieving safe, timely, and high-quality project completion within budget on a multi-discipline project. You will oversee project planning, execution, and closure, ensuring contractual profitability and obligations are met. Key accountabilities: As an onsite project team ensure the project is delivered to overall program to cost & time with resources needed leading to a high level of client satisfaction Identification and assessment of risk to the project as well as implementation of strategies to mitigate risk Use your technical skills to resolve design challenges and identify value engineering opportunities Cost and forecast control to assist the project managers with strategic planning Lead, develop and manage large project teams on the ground Build effective and & collaborative relationships to coordinate activities with supervisors Maintaining quality, environmental, and safety systems across the project Required Skills and Competencies Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Demonstrated experience leading a team on a major rail or infrastructure project Experience managing and develop long-term programs as well as display a high level of competency around contracts, cost forecasting, & management of a large team of engineers Advanced communication skills and an ability to build and maintain relationships with a broad range of subcontractors, local authorities, internal staff and client representatives If you feel like you meet the competencies above and are open to fifo or living in Port Lincoln we would like to hear from you!
