Senior Project Engineer – Aviation Austin, Houston, San Antonio, Charlotte, Raleigh, Charleston, Columbia, Tampa, Orlando, Atlanta, or Baton Rouge Office We are seeking a self-motivated Senior Project Engineer/Project Manager to support our aviation projects and pursuits in the Southeast. ICE has a highly successful operation in Florida with numerous on-call contracts, and a healthy backlog of work. Relocation will be paid for qualified candidates. Hybrid of Office and Work from Home available. Position Responsibilities As Project Engineer/Project Manager, the daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: * Design runways, taxiways, aprons and other airfield projects using FAA Advisory Circulars * Design landside facilities such as roads, parking, and utilities * Supervise designers and CADD technicians * Performs and/or leads civil design using knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D. * Works with other engineering disciplines and professionals in the coordination of the project under the direction of the Aviation Service Director. * Manage construction projects as the owner’s representative * Obtain permits from local municipalities and statewide agencies The position description is intended as a summary only of key duties. Education and Experience Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum of 4 years of aviation design experience with detailed knowledge of FAA standards is preferred. * Senior positions are available for candidates with 10+ years of relevant experience. * Proficiency in design programs is preferred (AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, Microsoft Excel, etc.). * Ability to efficiently complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision with a focus on client service. * Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. * Willingness and ability to learn new job skills.
