What’s on offer?
We wish to complement our existing team with a Senior Project Engineer – Electrical for our growing Rouse Hill project team within our Fulton Hogan Utilities business. The project is for our client Sydney Water and includes a major upgrade to the existing treatment plant. The scope is multi-disciplinary with civil/ structures/ pipework/ mechanical and electrical, so ideally candidates will have a range of experiences and be keen to learn and challenge themselves. In this role you’ll be responsible for:

• Working closely and collaboratively with our Design Team, Site Engineering and Supervisory Team to deliver complex Electrical works safely, on time, and on budget
• Assist with the development of contracts for sub-contractors, managing and approvals of variations, initiating and executing work to minimise cost ensuring they are in line with the forecasted revenue
• Design review, issue tender documents, procurement, expediting, site installation and commissioning assistance of electrical packages
• Attend and participate in HAZOPs, SiD reviews, CHAIR’s and other workshops as required.
• Overseeing practical completion documentation
• Management of Design & Construct LV & HV electrical subcontractors

How you’ll connect to the role:

• Relevant Tertiary Electrical Engineering Qualifications
• 5-10 years’ experience in Electrical Engineering role
• Experience on construction projects in water infrastructure, Water or Wastewater Treatment Plants (preferred)
• Knowledge of project financial management, forecasting, procurement, design and contracts management functions
• An affinity for continuous improvement and innovation, applying learnings to ‘real world’ project delivery environments
