JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering principles and practices, with a focus on system design and mechanical knowledge. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, particularly in conducting root cause analysis, and the ability to work collaboratively across various engineering disciplines.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in system design and project management within an engineering context.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks, CAD software, Simulink, MATLAB, LabVIEW, and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
  • Strong understanding of GD&T principles and mechanical knowledge.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to conduct thorough root cause analysis.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead engineering projects from conception through to completion, ensuring all specifications and requirements are met.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Utilise tools such as Simulink, MATLAB, and LabVIEW for system modelling and simulation.
  • Design and develop systems using Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and CAD software.
  • Create detailed schematics and documentation in accordance with GD&T standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical components into overall system designs.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering an environment of continuous learning.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
