So, what will you be doing as a Senior Project Engineer?

• Lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team to deliver innovative development projects.
• Balance competing priorities, assess customer requirements, and allocate resources effectively.
• Apply broad technical understanding across electronics, software, systems, and mechanical disciplines.
• Plan, coordinate, and present at design reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including non-engineering functions.
• Engage with customers, partners, and strategic suppliers.
• Author and maintain key project documents, such as Engineering Development Plans and Declarations of Performance.
• Provide regular project updates to senior engineering leadership.
• Maintain awareness of Ultra’s product portfolio and competitive landscape.

What are we looking for in our next Senior Project Engineer?

• Degree in an engineering or science discipline.
• Proven experience in one or more of the following: project leadership, systems, software, or electronics engineering.
• Experience designing and testing to military environmental standards.
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
