Description
Main Responsibilities: Prepare project proposal for management’s and JV Partners’ approval, including; conceptual design, cost estimates, feasibility, contracting strategy and baseline project schedule in coordination with Planning and Engineering teams. Develop project execution plans, consisting of project scope, timeline, cost estimates and budgeting details, in-house required resources, vendors and contracting work details, risk analysis, etc. and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements of the project. Coordinate the development of project specifications, technical scope of work, preliminary plot plan, piping plan and other general arrangement drawings, material take off and BOQs in coordination with the Engineering team. Prepare Work Packages for vendors and contractors for supply and services, and relevant commercial terms to be included in the Invitation to Bid (ITB) document. Evaluate bids technically and commercially, carry out risk analysis and select contractor. Support the internal / external (where applicable) review and commenting of project deliverables (Project Specifications, Plot Plans, Piping Plans, Material and Equipment Specifications, Testing & commissioning procedures, etc.) prepared by vendors, 3rd parties, project team, vendors or contractors and ensuring its compliance with applicable codes and standards, best recommended industry engineering practices and applicable governing laws. Ensure HSE and QA/QC requirements are fulfilled at all stages of the project in coordination with Project HSE leads and Construction team. Initiate and control proper documentation of project proceedings (JV approvals, AFEs, MoMs, Presentations, Correspondences, drawings, specifications, Change Orders, etc.) and ensure that project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately. Qualification: Graduation in Mechanical Engineering, MS in Project Management or equivalent. Professional competencies: Good knowledge of: Project Management; gas and crude oil treatment processes; piping and pipeline engineering, cost estimation practices; Finance & Economics; codes and standards related to Mechanical Equipment and Material. Leadership, team management, interpersonal, communication, team building and problem solving skills. Experience: 8-10 years of relevant experience of the Industry.
