Due to a healthy pipeline of work, we’re looking for a talented and hands-on Snr Project Engineer to join our Metro Melbourne Team —someone who shares our drive to exceed client expectations while upholding our core values of excellence, integrity, and teamwork.
As a Snr Project Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of technical projects across Metro Melbourne. You’ll spearhead the planning and organisation, ensuring our construction projects adhere to the highest safety and quality standards. Establishing strong connections with clients and subcontractors is pivotal as we collaborate to grow our business

What you’ll bring to the Team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil construction, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.
  • Demonstrated 3-5 years’ experience in civil construction, project management, preferably in VicRoads/DOT/DTP experience on roads & onsite experience.
  • Profound technical expertise and comprehension of construction processes.
  • Outstanding organizational and planning abilities to oversee project progression and execution.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, collaboration, liaison and networking skills
  • Dedication to upholding stringent safety and quality standards throughout project implementation.
  • Exceptional written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills for fostering and maintaining relationships with clients and subcontractors.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and manage conflicting priorities in a high-volume work environment.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving to address challenges and adapt to evolving project requirements.
  • Analytical, Innovative, and strategic thinking.
  • Proven capability to work collaboratively within internal & external team setting.
  • Commercial focus/good business judgement.
  • Professionalism, accountability & personal ownership

  • Lead, plan, organize, and control technical aspects of projects, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
  • Champion a strong safety and quality culture on-site, ensuring compliance with company HSEQ policies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients to support business growth strategies.
  • Contribute actively to team effectiveness and productivity, demonstrating Bild Group values in daily behaviours.
  • Support environmental responsibility by implementing and monitoring project environmental requirements.
