We are a successful civil contracting business who has been operating in Australia for over 35 years. With the agility and personal connection of a Tier 2, yet the expertise of a Tier 1, and the enhanced resources of one of the largest, world-class construction companies, VINCI, our employees and clients get the best of three worlds.
There has never been a better time to join our team – with several project wins on the horizon, including a major project with packages to be award early 2025, you’ll have the chance to be part of exciting new ventures and contribute to shaping the future of infrastructure in Melbourne.
As a progressive, leading civil engineering firm built on the strong foundations of our unique history, we engage, enable and empower our people to be better. With you, we are altogether stronger, in building the future we want.
We’re on the hunt for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to lead critical civil works on a major infrastructure project.
Bring your expertise in earthworks, drainage, and granular pavements to a role where safety, quality, and performance are top priority. You’ll manage high risk construction activities, oversee subcontractors, drive productivity, and ensure full compliance with project and client standards.
If you’re a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and loves mentoring junior engineers, we want to hear from you!

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Civil) or its equivalent.
  • Proven experience delivering civil infrastructure constructions projects for state authorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Current C-Class Driver’s Licence.
Responsibilities
  • Lead Safety and Compliance: Champion a strong safety culture by driving HSEQ compliance across all project activities in line with management plans.
  • Project Delivery & Team Leadership: Manage and guide project teams to deliver effective, timely, and cost-efficient outcomes. Oversee work allocation, team performance, and technical direction.
  • Quality, Risk & Contract Management: Ensure compliance with quality systems, including ITPs, lot closures, and NCRs. Identify and manage project risks and contribute to contract administration including claims and variations.
  • Program & Productivity Optimisation: Develop and manage project programs and site productivity. Challenge activities for improvement and drive efficiencies against tender estimates.
  • Stakeholder & Subcontractor Coordination: Liaise with clients, monitor subcontractor performance, and manage procurement to ensure contractual, commercial, and quality obligations are met.
