Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Project Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in engineering and project management. The Senior Project Engineer will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and executing projects from design through completion, ensuring they meet technical, budgetary, and scheduling requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or in progress
  • 5+ years of experience in engineering and project coordination, preferably in construction or infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, engineering principles, and project controls
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software; familiarity with project management tools like MS Project or Primavera
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities
  • Lead the engineering aspects of multiple construction or infrastructure projects
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, contractors, and consultants
  • Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, and technical reports
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and procurement in coordination with PMs
  • Perform technical analysis, risk assessments, and feasibility studies
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and project staff
  • Coordinate field investigations and site inspections as needed
  • Support construction administration including submittal reviews, RFIs, and change orders
  • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
