Description

JOB SPECIFICATION

  • Minimum Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in project execution, preferably in switchgear or electrical on-site projects.
  • Experienced in managing multiple projects and coordinating cross-functional teams, with strong expertise in FAT/SAT processes, variation order (VO) management, and customer-facing responsibilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD and MS Project knowledge is advantageous.
  • Strong technical understanding of LV electrical systems and project lifecycle.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and coordination skills, combined with a strong sense of responsibility, problem-solving abilities, and effective team leadership.
  • Willing to travel when needed to manage overseas projects.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage assigned projects from contract award to final handover.
  • Ensure successful execution and delivery of projects in compliance with technical, commercial, and quality requirements.
  • Coordinate and monitor project cost, schedule, document control, drawing submission, and material requisition.
  • Collaborate with internal design teams and external customers for drawing approval, resubmissions, and technical clarifications.
  • Maintain, update, and back up project-related documents, including SOPs, Work Instructions (WI), Continuous Improvement (CI) logs, and Lessons Learned.
  • Submit weekly progress updates and project reports to internal management and customers when required.
  • Work closely with Production, Logistics, QA/QC, Service, and Testing teams to ensure smooth delivery, FAT readiness, and site coordination.
  • Attend site surveys, site meetings, switchroom measurements, and installation work coordination.
  • Coordinate with customers for FAT scheduling, SAT arrangements, and power turn-on procedures, while also managing and resolving variation orders resulting from scope changes or updated customer requirements.
  • Participate in product demonstrations, commissioning, and testing where needed.
  • Support and collaborate with team members to enhance teamwork and maintain project momentum.
  • Perform other duties as assigned from time to time.
