The Opportunity   Veolia is seeking a talented Senior Project Engineer to join our Hunter Water Alliance team, providing engineering support and project coordination across multiple locations within the Hunter Water Alliance area.    This is an excellent opportunity to develop your project management skills on varied capital works projects spanning water and wastewater treatment facilities throughout the Hunter Water Alliance network   What's on Offer   Gain exposure to diverse capital works projects across water and wastewater treatment facilities Develop project management and engineering skills in a supportive environment Work with experienced water and wastewater treatment technologies Clear pathway for career progression to Project Manager level Supportive, Collaborative, and Inclusive Team Culture What you'll be responsible for   Support project coordination including programming and Project Management Plans (PMPs) Support contractor management and project spend tracking Write Project Development Plans (PDPs) and Business Cases Assist with tender preparation, design schemes, and cost estimates Support resource allocation to ensure project outcomes Ensure WHS requirements and safe working practices for capital works Prepare Job Safety Analysis worksheets and complete risk assessments Support HWC contract objectives and help identify system improvements Develop technical solutions to optimise operations and reduce maintenance Maintain effective working relationships with Alliance team members Comply with Veolia's Integrated Management System requirements Apply Permit to Work systems for contractors   What You'll Need to be Successful     Degree in Engineering, Project Management or related field Experience in project management Preferred: Basic knowledge of Water and Wastewater standards  Preferred: Interest in water and wastewater treatment processes   Why Veolia?
