Description Graham & Associates is seeking a highly skilled Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our team. The Senior Project Engineer will complete professional/technical engineering reviews, assessments, inspections, and other engineering assignments, and deliver this data in formats and in applications that support critical planning, engineering and decision support activities across the enterprise. This position will be working directly with the Client, Teaming Partner and other Engineering Staff supporting Water and Wastewater Projects. Requirements KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position will work under the general supervision of a Program Director. The following are typical responsibilities for this position and should not be construed as exclusive or all inclusive; this position may be required to perform other duties as assigned: Plan, review designs and oversee construction of infrastructure and structures. Undertake technical and feasibility studies including site investigations Use a range of computer software for developing detailed designs Complete complex calculations Liaison with clients and a variety of professionals including engineers and subcontractors Compile job specs and supervising tendering procedures Resolve design and development problems Manage budgets and project resources Making sure the project complies with legal requirements, especially health and safety Assess the sustainability and environmental impact of projects Ensure projects run smoothly and structures are completed within budget and on time Access and analyze technical and operational data from multiple data sources (e.g., BIMS, REVIT, GIS systems, etc.), and reconcile data between systems Undertake data input and production of digital maps, surveys, engineering drawings, and special database reports Assist with the preparation or review of project documentation, as directed, (e.g. presentations, sketches, drawings, maps, technical memoranda, meeting records, etc.) Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and design staff. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Georgia required. Minimum of 20 years of extensive water/wastewater project management experience 10+ years at the Project Manager level on projects or programs in the water/wastewater and construction fields. Strong understanding of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or other relevant design software Experience in the use of 3D software to model civil engineering design, including but not limited to Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD. Experience in essential computer programs including Microsoft Office suite, and Adobe Acrobat. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to an engineering and non-engineering audience either orally or written.
