Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer (Mechanical) to lead the design, development, qualification, and optimization of Well Completion Products (WCP) within the oil and gas industry. This role serves as a technical authority for mechanical engineering activities, driving product innovation, reliability improvements, and compliance with industry standards. The successful candidate will collaborate with global cross-functional teams to deliver safe, reliable, and commercially viable completion solutions while providing technical leadership and mentoring to engineering teams. Responsibilities : * Serve as the technical authority for the design, development, qualification, and optimization of Well Completion Products, including packers, completion tools, and downhole equipment. * Lead product development projects from concept through qualification, validation, commercialization, and field deployment. * Conduct advanced engineering calculations, simulations, stress analysis, fatigue assessments, and FEA to validate product performance under challenging downhole conditions. * Resolve complex technical issues related to structural integrity, pressure containment, sealing performance, reliability, and failure modes. * Drive continuous product improvement initiatives through root cause analysis, reliability studies, failure investigations, and design optimization. * Lead feasibility studies, risk assessments, FMEA activities, and cost-benefit analyses for new and existing technologies. * Ensure compliance with API, ISO, customer specifications, and internal engineering standards throughout the product lifecycle. * Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Operations, and HSE teams to develop safe, manufacturable, and cost-effective product solutions. * Develop and maintain engineering standards, design guidelines, technical documentation, qualification reports, and change management records. * Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineering teams, supporting capability development and knowledge sharing. * Support field operations and customer-facing teams by providing technical expertise, troubleshooting support, and engineering recommendations. * Champion HSE excellence, quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability, safety, and customer satisfaction.
