  Job Description: Ninyo & Moore has an immediate opening for a Senior Project Environmental Engineer/Geologist to join our environmental branch in Las Vegas, Nevada. We are currently seeking a professional to conduct and manage due diligence - Phase 1 and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, groundwater testing and sampling, and field contractor oversight. Ability to conduct and manage asbestos/lead paint surveys a plus. The successful candidate will: * independently manage projects and clients; * assist in the collection and analysis of data from sampling, reports, maps, drawings, tests, and aerial photographs to evaluate, plan, and permit projects. * assist with development of proposals. * attend on-and off-site client meetings, effectively communicating with clients and regulators. * provide technical guidance and/or oversee work performed by lower-level staff. * implement technical requirements to complete client projects by directing and supervising field staff to sample, test, and collect data. * evaluate laboratory and field data and assemble in written reports. Education: Bachelor's degree in technical field such as environmental sciences or civil engineering or geology is required. Current 40Hour OSHA HAZWOPER is required. Required Skills: A Nevada Certified Environmental Manager with 7+ years of experience in the environmental field with a thorough understanding of local, state, and federal environmental regulations. Familiarity with Nevada regulatory programs is a plus. Professional certifications for California, Utah, and/or Arizona is a plus. Must possess strong verbal and writing communication skills.
Responsibilities
