Position Title: Senior Projects Lead

POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Projects Lead will have a professional background in biology, forestry, or a related field. This role is responsible for assisting the General Manager in areas of business development, client relations, and will lead a team of environmental monitors on major mining, hydro, and construction projects, as well as prepare proposals and budgets that lead to new contract procurement. The Senior Projects Lead reports directly to the General Manager of CCE.

INNOVATION & KNOWLEDGE SHARING

  • Participation in professional development and educational workshops
  • Contribution to research publications, academic partnerships, and new project opportunities

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Post-secondary education in environmental science, biology, natural resource management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience in environmental consulting or closely related field.
  • Hold a professional designation such as a Registered Professional Biologist (RPBio), Registered Professional Forester (RPF), or Professional Agrologist (PAg)
  • Proven success managing complex projects and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering technical reports.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and permitting processes.
