The Opportunity Our Industrial group of technical engineering and project management specialists have demonstrated their ongoing commitment to delivering innovative and successful project solutions for our clients. Due to market growth, current projects and strong project pipeline in Australia we are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team in Melbourne or Sydney, to partner with our clients in leading a diverse range of projects in collaboration with our multi-disciplinary team. This role is ideal for someone with established experience who is looking to take the next step in their Career by playing a lead role in project delivery and client relationship management. In this role you will lead project delivery across the full range of the construction project lifecycle stages, working strategically with clients and across Beca’s diverse range of technical disciplines. With a wide range of technical and leadership challenges to grow your skills and knowledge, there are endless opportunities to develop your project and design management capabilities, while learning from our leaders and experts. About You This position would suit a degree qualified Process, Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with experience in delivering capital projects within the food, beverage, energy or manufacturing. To be successful in this role, you will be a client focused, relationship builder with outstanding communication skills and the ability to influence and drive successful project outcomes for the business and our clients. Previous on-site experience and consulting experience will be well-regarded. While each project you work on will be different in scope and scale, this role will see you: Provide project management and delivery leadership across key industrial projects, from early phase scope definition to detailed design and construction phase support Build strong long-term relationships with our clients across multiple industries, and demonstrate your ability to understand and translate our client's requirements into project deliverables Bring a well-developed understanding of project management and construction contract principles with the ability to develop and manage to a detailed Design Program Work effectively in a team environment to deliver multi-disciplinary design. You are comfortable collaborating with remote design teams to successfully deliver key projects for our clients Lead and mentor more junior engineers for their professional growth and development Working with site-based engineering teams delivering capital projects – bringing flexibility to travel to work alongside clients to deliver projects This exciting opportunity will see you step into a supportive and inclusive work environment that values diversity and continuous improvement.
