DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Project Management Officer (PMO) to support the Chief Product Officer (CPO) Office. In this role, you will play a critical part in optimising project execution and ensuring the successful management of key initiatives by coordinating deadlines, tracking project activities, and maintaining effective communication across teams. You will contribute to the ongoing efficiency of project delivery and support the development of frameworks that enhance our project management processes.
As the Project Management Officer, you will ensure the smooth execution of multiple projects by managing schedules, developing and maintaining dashboards, tracking milestones, and streamlining project documentation. You will act as a key enabler for the CPO office, helping to drive decision-making, promote efficiency, and ensure compliance with project methodologies. By setting up frameworks and implementing tools to track progress, you will make a significant impact on the success of our product and sustainability initiatives.
This role is based in Mannheim, a vibrant tech hub at the heart of Germany, where you’ll collaborate with a talented, forward-thinking team. We embrace a hybrid work model, with three days a week in the office, ensuring the perfect balance between in-person collaboration and remote flexibility.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE

  • A degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in a Project Management Office (PMO) role, with proven knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Strong experience with project management software, including tools such as Jira, MS Project, ServiceNow, Planvie, Monday.com, etc
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools like PowerBI, Qlik, Looker, Tableau, Jira, etc., to create insightful and actionable project reports.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
  • Fluency in German (C2 level) and English (C1 level), with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Establish and manage PMO frameworks and methodologies that align with the overall goals of the CPO office, ensuring projects follow best practices and meet organizational standards.
  • Implement and optimize tools for project management, including PowerBI, Qlik, Looker, Tableau, Jira, and others, to create real-time dashboards and detailed reports.
  • Design and standardize project management processes and templates that streamline activities, improve efficiency, and foster consistency across projects.
  • Monitor and track project activities, ensuring deadlines and milestones are met, and that any issues are addressed promptly.
  • Provide support in the documentation process for ongoing projects, ensuring that the right information is available for faster decision-making and alignment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth coordination of project timelines and activities.
