The Boeing Global Services Global Warehousing, Logistics and Chemicals organization is seeking a Project Management Specialist to lead projects, programs and activities in the complex and growing after-market warehousing business based out of our SeaTac, Washington location. This role will oversee, develop, coordinate, integrate, analyze, and maintain integrated plans and schedules for highly complex and difficult projects, programs and change driven activities to execute in accordance with project management industry standards.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 5+ years of experience in project or program management
  • 5+ years of experience with Program Management Best Practices (PMBP)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Project Management Certification or degree
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience working with Supply Chain, Warehousing, or Logistics organizations
  • Strong leadership skills, 42
Responsibilities
  • Oversees, develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains integrated plans and schedules for highly complex or difficult projects, programs and change driven activities to execute in accordance with project management industry standards.
  • Directs and provides high level studies/analysis (trend, variance, impact), determines scope, reports, and oversight of planning requests.
  • Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning and refines the business case.
  • Develops and executes the process and strategy for the integration of plans and schedules.
  • Consults and recommends integrated planning, scheduling, change and baseline management, processes, techniques and tools to management considered to be best practices across the industry.
  • Recognized as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives. Authorizes commitment of resources by obtaining approvals from stakeholders.
  • Oversees deployment of approved recommendations at Division, Business Unit, and/or Enterprise levels.
