Job Description AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a robust background in federal projects to oversee the management and execution of high-profile initiatives. This role requires a dynamic leader capable of maintaining contract compliance, ensuring quality standards, and driving project success from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to excellence in project delivery. This is an onsite position. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Represent the client professionally in alignment with contract requirements and deliverables. Manage contracts for complex federal projects, including compliance oversight and detailed progress documentation. Develop and implement strategies to align projects with business objectives, client requirements, and contractual obligations. Oversee project planning and execution, managing scope, schedule, budget, and resources. Identify and mitigate risks related to schedule delays, cost overruns, safety, and unforeseen challenges. Supervise project teams, subcontractors, and consultants, providing leadership and performance oversight. Confirm adherence to contract terms, specifications, and quality standards through inspections and monitoring. Lead safety and quality control initiatives to maintain a safe work environment and deliver high-quality outcomes. Manage project budgets and financial performance, tracking costs and forecasting expenses. Coordinate with stakeholders and regulatory agencies to facilitate approvals and maintain compliance. Resolve disputes and contractual issues, working with legal and project control teams. Conduct commissioning management, construction schedule reviews, and project closeout coordination. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: BA/BS in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education Preferred Requirements: 15 years of project management with some experience in the federal market Certification in one or more of the following: Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Project Management Professional (PMP), Professional Engineer (PE), Registered Architect (RA), or American Institute of Architects (AIA). Proven expertise in contract management and compliance oversight. Strong leadership and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and teams effectively. Advanced degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Project Management. Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and Value Engineering (VE). Experience in labor standards enforcement and subcontracting plan adherence.
