Description

Bachelor's University Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university 5+ years of Project Management experience and 8+ years of Transportation Engineering experience Experience in roadway preliminary or detailed design P.Eng. (Eligible for Membership with PEO) preferred Experience with local and regional authorities such as the City of London, Region of Waterloo, City of Kitchener, City of Cambridge, MTO, and adjacent regions (e.g., Halton, Peel, York, Durham) is an asset Experience with preliminary and detailed design of intersections, arterial roads, highways, and freeways (alignments, geometrics, staging, traffic management, roadside safety) Familiarity with AutoCAD, MicroStation, InRoads, and Civil3D is an asset Understanding of traffic engineering principles Familiarity with Waterloo Region and/or GTHA market conditions, public and private sector client base in and around Waterloo/GTHA Experience with contract administration, construction inspection, and preparation of reports
