Senior Project Manager – Major Projects | South Australia

ASA Consultant Services is expanding its senior project delivery capability across South Australia and is seeking experienced Senior Project Managers for current and upcoming project-based opportunities.

We are looking for experienced project leaders who can step into complex environments and provide immediate delivery capability.

The role

Depending on the assignment, you may be responsible for:

• Leading projects from concept through to delivery and close-out
• Managing scope, cost, schedule, risk and quality
• Establishing project governance and controls
• Leading multidisciplinary project teams
• Managing consultants, contractors and suppliers
• Developing procurement and delivery strategies
• Managing contracts, variations and commercial issues
• Resolving project risks, interfaces and delivery constraints
• Managing senior client and stakeholder relationships
• Preparing executive-level reporting
• Supporting project recovery and turnaround where required
• Mentoring project professionals and developing capability

• Government/client-side delivery

What we’re looking for

You will ideally have:

• Significant senior project management experience
• Experience leading complex/high-risk projects
• Major capital project experience
• Strong commercial and contract understanding
• Procurement/tendering experience
• Proven multidisciplinary leadership
• Strong stakeholder and negotiation skills
• Strong cost, schedule and risk management
• Contractor/consultant management experience
• Relevant tertiary qualifications and professional memberships

Pay: $85.00 – $110.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Adelaide SA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• Bachelor Degree (Preferred)

Experience:

• Project management: 7 years (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• PMP (Preferred)

Work Authorisation:

• Australia (Preferred)
