Job Description 🚢 Joint Project Manager – Ship lift Programme This programme will lead the delivery of critical upgrade and maintenance works for the client's ship lift, a key facility supporting the UK's submarine fleet. ⚓ 🔹 What You'll Do 📅 Lead the planning, delivery, and completion of a complex engineering upgrade and maintenance programme. 💷 Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. 📊 Develop and maintain integrated project schedules and performance reporting. 🤝 Coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders, including MoD, Babcock Marine, specialist contractors, and site management teams. 📈 Provide project governance, progress updates, financial reporting, and risk management. ⚠️ Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues. 🛡️ Ensure compliance with defence, health & safety, environmental, and security requirements. ✅ Support audits, assurance activities, and quality control processes. Qualifications Experience 🔹 What we're Looking For Proven experience delivering complex engineering, infrastructure, or maintenance projects. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Experience managing schedules, budgets, risks, and project governance, change control. Ability to operate effectively within a multi-agency and highly regulated environment. Knowledge of defence, nuclear, infrastructure, or heavy engineering projects is highly desirable. Training & Qualifications Formal project management qualifications (e.g., PRINCE2, APM PMQ, MSP, or equivalent).
