This role requires a seasoned PM with strong experience managing regulatory change in large financial services environments, capable of establishing end‑to‑end delivery across tax, actuarial, investment, member operations and external partners.  You’ll be accountable for de‑risking delivery through clear scope definition, current‑state and gap analysis, dependency management, and development of a credible target approach and delivery roadmap, while operating in a high‑governance, audit‑sensitive context.  Success in this role demands excellent stakeholder management at executive level, disciplined financial and milestone control, and the ability to translate complex legislative requirements into scalable, compliant, and member‑centric outcomes with minimal disruption.  Reporting to the Senior Portfolio Project Manager, the Senior Project Manager plays a critical role in delivering complex, enterprise-wide initiatives within AustralianSuper’s Enterprise Group Delivery function.  This is a 12‑month maximum term opportunity where you will be responsible for end‑to‑end project delivery, ensuring outcomes are achieved on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards in a dynamic and highly regulated environment.    Working within a matrix structure, you will partner closely with senior stakeholders, delivery teams and third‑party vendors to translate strategic objectives into tangible outcomes that enhance member and business value.    In this role, you’ll:  * Own the end‑to‑end delivery of a regulatory initiative, ensuring outcomes align to business objectives, timelines, budgets and quality standards  * Lead and coordinate multi‑disciplinary, virtual delivery teams across onshore, offshore and vendor environments  * Engage and influence senior stakeholders to manage priorities, resolve issues and enable effective decision‑making  * Follow group’s delivery framework to deliver the initiative on budget and schedule with the business case benefits  * Proactively manage project schedule (with MS project), risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, resource, scope and change to ensure successful project outcomes  * Follow Fund’s governance, reporting and controls, providing clear updates to Steering Committees and senior leaders  * Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives, insights and benefits tracking      What you’ll need  * Proven experience leading complex, large‑scale regulatory projects in a senior project management role  * Seasoned financial industry expertise in superannuation, banking and insurance sector. * Strong end‑to‑end delivery expertise across Waterfall delivery methodologies  * Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders in a matrix environment  * Experience managing budgets, risks, dependencies and governance within regulated organisations  * Well‑developed analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills  * Confidence working with delivery tools such as MS Project, Jira, Confluence and program management toolsets such as Microsoft PPM.  * Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences    Life at AustralianSuper     AustralianSuper is committed to colleague development, supporting our people with ongoing learning, coaching and training, as well as career opportunities across our expanding organisation.
