This role sits within the Technology function and requires strong alignment with PMO standards, disciplined governance, and the ability to produce clear, insightful reporting for senior executives and the board. The Project Manager will work closely with engineering, product, cybersecurity, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery across the project lifecycle to understand business requirements and deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality technical solutions!
- Key Responsibilities include:Leading end-to-end delivery of software development projects using established PMO frameworks, ensuring consistent application of project methodology, documentation, and governance processes.
- Establishing project baselines for schedule, cost, scope, quality, and risk, maintaining strict control of changes through formal change management processes.
- Identifying, recording, and actively managing project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies in accordance with PMO and ISMS practices.
- Developing mitigation strategies and escalate items appropriately to ensure project continuity.
- Ensuring traceability of decisions through disciplined RAID log management
- Serve as the primary liaison between delivery teams, product owners, business sponsors, and senior executives.
- Managing stakeholder expectations, ensuring alignment on priorities, scope, and delivery timelines.
- Presenting project status, risks, progress against milestones, critical decisions, and financial performance in a concise and structured manner.
- Preparing and managing project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting in collaboration with Finance and the PMO.
- Coordinating resource planning with team leads and ensure appropriate utilisation of internal and external resources
- Embedding quality assurance practices throughout the project lifecycle
To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with:
- Proven experience managing software development projects within agile, hybrid, or waterfall environments.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices, technical delivery concepts, and systems integration.
- Demonstrated competence in PMO governance, documentation, and reporting standards.
