Lead a team to deliver a first class service The Senior project manager is a key leadership role that drive on-time delivery, profit & loss, and customer satisfaction. Overseeing day-to-day project management requirements across all factory project and Flow/Complex Flow orders, contribute business growth of Valve business in Japan As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for: • Acting as a central point of project execution for Korean customer for our valve business. Manage customer experience of Korean customers by resolving any project issues including but not limited to specification, commercial issues, manage correspondence among stakeholders during project execution with support from each function and project factory PMs. Identifying proper point of contact in each layer of Korean customer organization and building relationship and act as focal point of project execution for our valve business. • leading kick-off meetings at customer locations, status updates, hosting customer visit/inspection, and carry out project close out as appropriate. • Ensuring customer satisfaction and great customer experience with detailed/prompt responses and coordination for any customer requests or issues. • providing periodic updates to the leadership for major projects with critical KPIs such as Project Review, Rev Rec, Margin, Risk & Opportunity as needed. To provide similar update to customer periodically as needed. • Liaising with project factory’s PMs, functional leaders, and other valve businesses share project execution status and give/get proper support as required to ensure customer satisfaction. • Ensuring orders are processed according to ITO-OTR hands off and scope, schedule, and financial of the project are finalized through R3 process. • Ensuring on-time delivery in accordance with contract by monitoring project plan, consulting project PM/OM and fulfilment function in factories as appropriate. • carrying out project assignments including receivables, claims, contract changes, margin enhancement, and effective project closeout according to business process. • escalating project risk to proper level of project matrix through CIR process in time. • Overall project ownership and responsibility for multiple persons in project matrix including Engineering, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Logistics, Finance and Services according to Roll and Responsibility. • Ensuring project execution is being done according to company procedure. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering is preferred) and Master’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering is preferred. • Have a minimum of 15 years of experience in project management. • Willingness and ability to travel 25 % of the time • Proven records of Project manager, or Contract Management in Offshore marine and Power Generation industry. • Microsoft suite proficiency is referred • Strong business and financial acumen including SAP is preferred. • Technical knowledge of valves business and associated systems is preferred. • Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English. • Native level speaking in Korean.
