We’re hiring a Senior Project Manager to lead complex construction projects out of our Urbandale, IA office, serve as a primary client partner, and help develop the next generation of project leaders at Boyd Jones. What You’ll Own This isn’t a coordinator role. You’ll carry full accountability for project performance, client relationships, and team development across large, complex, or concurrent projects. * Lead execution strategy, team alignment, and performance across complex or multiple concurrent projects from preconstruction through closeout * Serve as the primary client contact — managing executive relationships, navigating challenges, and representing BJC with credibility * Own financial performance: forecasting accuracy, risk mitigation, cash flow, and portfolio-level profitability * Mentor and develop Project Managers, APMs, and Project Engineers — actively building bench strength on your teams * Establish and reinforce risk management, safety culture, and quality standards across all assigned projects * Review and approve RFIs, submittals, change events, and documentation prepared by project teams * Lead OAC meetings, subcontractor coordination, and internal planning sessions * Represent Boyd Jones in client presentations, interviews, and industry events What’s In It For You * Competitive compensation based on your experience. * Work that matters.
