As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of project releases, ensuring they are delivered on time, with high quality, and according to customer requirements. You will manage client project expectations and work directly with them in understanding their business objectives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Clients, Product Management, Development, Quality Assurance, Operations, Contact Center, Fulfillment, and Customer Success, to manage project success. Your expertise in project planning, risk mitigation, and stakeholder coordination will be essential in delivering successful projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 5+ years of project management experience in a SaaS environment.
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, Click Up and collaboration platforms like Microsoft Teams and Outlook.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, software development processes, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
  • Knowledge of SaaS software and industry trends, with a passion for staying updated on the latest advancements.
  • PMP or other project management certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, execute, and oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial project planning and scope refinement to final delivery. Managing project expectations, road mapping, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and according to defined schedules that are budgeted.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management to understand requirements, priorities, and objectives, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer expectations; Assist in scheduling any additional meetings needed between Product Management and Customer teams.
  • Develop detailed project plans including scope, budgets, project timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and dependencies, to effectively coordinate and communicate project activities.
  • Conduct risk assessments and impact analyses, identifying potential issues, dependencies, and mitigation strategies to minimize risks and ensure successful deployments.
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders including Client, Development, Quality Assurance, and Deployment teams to ensure smooth and successful project execution.
  • Collaborate with Account Directors, Support teams, and Contact Center to ensure customer readiness and support during release deployments, addressing any customer concerns or issues promptly and effectively while delivering exceptional customer service for the clients you work with.
  • Own agendas and conduct regular project status meetings, providing updates on project progress and any potential issues to key stakeholders, including client, senior management, development teams, and customer-facing teams, ensuring transparency and effective coordination.
