Senior Project Manager (Brussels, near) - EU Commission At The Whiteam, we are seeking a Senior Project Manager to collaborate with EU public institutions. The ideal candidate will be an EU citizen with at least 14 years of overall IT experience. This position is offered on a near-site (hybrid) basis in Brussels. Profile: Senior PM. Location: Brussels (Belgium), near-site. Language: English (C1). MANDATORY Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of networking and security infrastructure. Excellent ability to drive projects as well as technical investigations. Ability to analyze requirements and define solutions efficiently and quickly. Ability to deliver business and technical presentations. Commitment to applying high-quality standards. Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technologies in networking, security, and data centres. Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong analysis, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Ability to write clear and structured technical documents. Ability to actively participate in technical meetings. Specific Expertise: This role requires broad experience in networking, excellent technical expertise, and practical experience in the architecture and/or project management of enterprise-level networking and IT security infrastructure, particularly in: Cisco ACI-based LAN and WAN networking technologies. Juniper and F5 equipment. As a Project Manager, the candidate must be proficient in both project execution and operational processes. This experience should have been developed in complex, structured organizations with outsourced services and must be demonstrated through practical activities. Responsibilities include producing and reviewing architectural documents, meeting minutes, business cases, vision documents, service level agreements, terms of collaboration, and planning schedules. For this highly technical role, the consultant must have the following qualifications: Cisco Datacenter/Security subject matter expert. Storage and Data Centre Infrastructure expert. Experienced in Critical Incident and Crisis Management. Cisco DC CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure certification. Cybersecurity expert. ITIL expert. Expert in F5 and Juniper equipment. Expert in SPLUNK and observability tools. Certifications & Standards: - CISCO DC CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure certification. - Cybersecurity expert. - ITIL Certified. Rate: 375€-390€ per day.
