ABOUT IQ BIOSCIENCES
iQ Biosciences provides high-quality biospecimens and intelligent research services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and diagnostic industries. More than a reliable vendor, we are a trusted partner to the biomedical community, united by a shared mission to help cure disease. As we enter a dynamic growth phase, we’re seeking a highly motivated individual who embodies our culture and values: sound judgment, clear communication, curiosity, urgency, focused passion, intelligence, and empathy. This role offers significant growth potential as we expand our Discovery Sciences division, supported by a newly formed Commercial Operations business unit. It’s a unique opportunity to engage with a broad spectrum of drug development strategies—from emerging biotech to global pharma—while working at the intersection of scientific innovation and commercial strategy, particularly in Immunology, Oncology, and related therapeutic modalities.
POSITION DESCRIPTION: SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER (STRATEGIC & TACTICAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT)
The Senior Project Manager (Strategic & Tactical Project Management), reporting to the Chief Scientific Officer and Executive Committee, plays a pivotal role in driving cross-functional initiatives that enhance program delivery, operational efficiency, and strategic alignment. This position is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing client project operations at iQ Biosciences in support of the company’s growth objectives and internal integration efforts.
The individual will work closely with internal teams and external sponsors to design scalable workflows, streamline business processes, and ensure programs are executed on time and in compliance. Success in this role requires the ability to anticipate challenges and develop practical solutions that balance operational efficiency with the agility needed to adapt as new data shapes the path forward.
This role is also responsible for generating scope of work and cost estimates for client studies and incorporating this information into formal service proposals in collaboration with the technical team. The successful candidate will continually utilize independent discretion and judgment in making determinations of client study feasibility, generating project quotes in consideration of client situation and other estimation factors, and serving as a representative of the company to potential and existing Bioservices, Bioconjugation, and Cellular Products clients. They will be resourceful, organized, and motivated to increase sales, enhance the company’s reputation, and look for new and creative ways to market iQ’s services and products.
This senior project management role blends scientific fluency with business and operational strategy. It is both internal- and external-facing, requiring clear and effective communication—both written and verbal—with colleagues and clients. The ideal candidate is highly proactive, adaptable across scientific and business contexts, and deeply curious—able to quickly grasp new scientific concepts and services and articulate their value to clients. A consultative, strategic mindset is essential, along with strong follow-through and a drive to translate opportunities into impact. This role also partners closely with senior leadership to build Decision Sciences capabilities and apply core principles to analyze key project and portfolio scenarios—factoring in upcoming milestones and their influence on portfolio composition and characteristics.
