Senior Project Manager – Engineering
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead our Engineering Department. This role is responsible for setting direction, driving execution, and ensuring excellence in both technical engineering and project delivery. The Senior Project Manager will oversee multiple high-impact projects while mentoring staff, supporting business growth, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership

• Provide engineering services across civil and industrial wastewater projects.
• Lead design analysis, cost estimating, civil/remedial design packages, and construction oversight.
• Manage permitting in Pennsylvania for wastewater discharge, site planning, and soil erosion/sediment control.
• Oversee design deliverables, including drawings, specifications, calculations, and O&M/monitoring plans.
• Establish and monitor project schedules, budgets, and quality control standards.

Project & People Management

• Lead, mentor, and train project engineers, drafters, and assistants.
• Drive staff development in management, leadership, and technical best practices.
• Ensure project teams deliver on time, within budget, and with client satisfaction.
• Partner with the Marketing Director to develop growth strategies and represent the firm at client and industry events.
• Oversee staff utilization, chargeability, and cross-office collaboration.
• Maintain client relationships, ensuring clear communication and adherence to QA/QC procedures.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s in Environmental or Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in environmental engineering.
• 5+ years of progressive management experience.

Licenses & Certifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) .

Skills & Expertise

• Strong background in preparing proposals, budgets, and cost estimates.
• Demonstrated project management and business development skills.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
