Role description: Arcadis is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Civil & Structures to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale infrastructure or transit projects, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards. This position oversees multidisciplinary teams, manages project risks, coordinates with stakeholders across municipal, provincial, and federal agencies, and ensures compliance with all contractual, regulatory, and safety requirements. The Senior Project Manager also supports business development through proposal preparation and client engagement, while preparing and presenting project updates to senior leadership and external partners, all while promoting a culture of safety and sustainability throughout the project lifecycle. This role sits in our Mobility Global Business Area (GBA). We partner with our clients across the globe to design thriving and connected cities and communities that enable opportunity for all and keep the world moving. Climate change, urbanization and digitization trends are requiring today's mobility projects and systems to address an evolving set of demands from the world's growing population. We design connected, sustainable solutions that integrate existing infrastructure with new technologies, and optimize the mobility of people and goods. Role accountabilities: In this role, you will support the Project Leadership team in the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale infrastructure or transit projects, ensuring that all activities are aligned with defined scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards. You will oversee multidisciplinary project teams composed of internal staff, consultants, and contractors, fostering collaboration and driving performance to achieve project objectives. You will be responsible for managing project risks, developing effective mitigation strategies, and ensuring compliance with all contractual and regulatory requirements. Part of your role will involve coordinating with a range of stakeholders, including municipal, provincial, and federal agencies, utility companies, and transit authorities, to facilitate smooth project delivery. Additionally, you will prepare and present project reports, forecasts, and updates to senior leadership and external partners, providing clear and concise updates on progress and challenges. You will also support business development efforts by contributing to proposal preparation and engaging with clients to build and maintain strong relationships. Throughout the project lifecycle, you will ensure that all activities adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards, promoting a culture of safety and sustainability across the project team. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred Minimum 10-15 years of progressive experience in infrastructure or transit project management Proven track record managing large-scale capital projects in Ontario or similar jurisdictions PMP certification or equivalent is required Strong knowledge of alternate delivery models (e.g., P3, DB) Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills Professional Engineering (P.Eng.) designation in Ontario is an asset Why Arcadis? The salary range for this position is $128,000 - $178,000. The base salary represents Arcadis' hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
