- Master or Bachelor in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Math or similar.
- 4+ years experience in management-, digital transformation-, or software consulting.
- Passion in driving change and creating success for customers.
- Joy in finding challenges and setting ambitious goals that drive innovation.
- Willingness to take initiative and responsibility for building strong teams and customer relationships.
- Ability to work independently and to perform in a dynamic and ambiguous working environment.
- Experience in industrial digitalization projects or product development.
- Familiarity with IoT, cloud solutions, or machine learning models is a plus.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage complex stakeholder landscapes.
- Motivation to travel if needed.

Responsibilities:
As a Senior Project Manager in Cognite, you will lead teams driving our customers’ digital transformations. Your job will be to help them free up their data and unlock its true value. To do well in this role, you’ll often need to be the first to take initiative and find creative solutions. Your tasks will benefit greatly from both utilizing a systematic approach and having a strong passion for creating customer value using advanced technology. As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead larger projects, or have your own project portfolio.Your team will consist of Data Scientists, Solution Architects, and Domain Experts. Together you’ll design, develop, and operationalize digital solutions across a number of industries. On the way, you’ll find unique opportunities to learn from talented people with fascinating backgrounds. When you deliver Cognite’s solutions, you will be responsible for end-user success. They will often contact you before anyone else. You will work closely with our customers to make the most out of Cognite Data Fusion. There will be times where you’ll encounter unexpected challenges or ambiguity. Your ability to show persistence and adapt in the face of these challenges is an important part of leading the day-to-day work of a project.
Our new Senior Project Manager will also be responsible for business development and the creation of new opportunities. You are now or you may aspire to be a People Manager. One of your key tasks will be to act as a liaison between our customers and Cognite’s engineering and product management teams. Your familiarity with each customer will aid you in providing advice on development priorities. This means that you’ll need to be a good communicator, enjoy working closely with people to solve challenging problems, and be able to understand complex technology.
