Description:
My client is one of Australia’s most successful and experienced Retail builders that have built a reputation by delivering challenge projects ahead of time and under budget. With the Retail sector booming the company has decided to set up a specialist non EBA division to focus on smaller boutique projects valued below $20m. The division has already delivered a number of hi profile projects and are looking to grow headcount. This is a unique role to join a company focused on smaller projects but with proven Tier 2 processes and systems.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Directors of the company are passionate, progressive and above all professional and as part of their next stage of growth they are now seeking to appoint a proven Senior PM to join the team and lead in the delivery of these projects with the medium term plan of progressing into a dedicated Construction Manager role. The first project to deliver is a hospitality NewBuild project valued at $6m.
As Senior PM you will be supported by a dedicated CA, Junior Project Manager and great site team.
DUTIES
As Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all time, budget and quality aspects of building project as well as looking after the financials. You will typically run a couple of projects at a time depending on the complexity and timeframes. You will run the project but have the support and guidance from the director. Your core duties in this role will encompass:
- Construction Programming
- Client & Stakeholder Liaison
- Managing Site Teams and Personnel
- Ensuring best practise in QA, OH&S and IR
- Subcontract management and Labour Resourcing
