Job Description AECOM Transportation in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Senior Project Manager / Construction Manager V to manage rail and transit design and construction projects. Directs and manages the entire project (often various projects simultaneously), provides guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and act as the primary liaison between AECOM and clients. Accountable for all facets of the project including their accordance with design, budget and schedule. Overall responsibility and management of project including, but not limited to, budgeting/schedule stage, procurement, through contract closeout. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: BA/BS + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education Professional Engineer (PE), Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Valid Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review. Preferred Qualifications: BS Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or similar field + 8 years of project management and/or construction management experience within the transportation-related construction industry or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. Experience within the rail / transit industry Experience with managing multiple projects simultaneously Experience utilizing Primavera P6, MS Project and/or similar project management information software.
