Job Title: Senior Project Manager – Contract Logistics (Manhattan WMS/OMS Deployment) Location: Remote (with 40–60% travel across U.S. warehouse locations) Full time Salary: $120,000- $150,000 About The Client Our client is a leading global provider of supply chain solutions, connecting people, products, and providers across international markets. With a strong footprint across multiple countries and extensive warehouse operations, the client delivers end-to-end services in Contract Logistics and Freight Management. As part of an enterprise-wide digital transformation, the client is executing a multi-year rollout of Manhattan Active WMS and OMS platforms across 50+ warehouse sites in the United States. This initiative focuses on driving standardization, scalability, customer integration, and operational efficiency across its 3PL network. Position Overview The Senior Project Manager – Manhattan Deployment will lead end-to-end implementation and execution of Manhattan Active WMS and OMS deployments at assigned warehouse sites. This role requires a strong blend of: Project management expertise Warehouse operations knowledge Cross-functional leadership The Project Manager will oversee all phases of deployment including planning, execution, testing, cutover, go-live, and hypercare, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high operational adoption. Key Responsibilities 1. Project Leadership & Execution Lead full lifecycle implementation of Manhattan Active WMS and OMS across warehouse sites Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and resource allocations Ensure alignment with overall program governance and deployment roadmap 2. Cross-Functional Coordination Drive execution across key workstreams: Operations IT & Integration Business Process Engineering Testing (SIT/UAT) Training & Change Management Data Migration Facilitate daily/weekly project meetings and track deliverables Partner with site leadership to ensure operational readiness 3. Stakeholder & Customer Engagement Act as primary liaison between: Internal teams Customer stakeholders External implementation partners Coordinate integration timelines, testing cycles, and deployment readiness Deliver clear status reports, risk updates, and executive summaries 4. Risk, Issue & Schedule Management Maintain and manage RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) Identify risks proactively and implement mitigation strategies Ensure strict scope and change control governance 5. Testing & Go-Live Readiness Coordinate and oversee: System Integration Testing (SIT) User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Ensure completion of: Training programs Readiness checklists Stakeholder sign-offs Lead cutover planning, including detailed execution runbooks Drive go-live readiness reviews and approvals 6. Hypercare & Stabilization Manage post-go-live hypercare support activities Track and resolve system defects and operational issues Ensure smooth transition to steady-state operations and support teams 7. Continuous Improvement Capture lessons learned from each deployment Enhance deployment playbooks, templates, and methodologies Support standardization and scalability across future rollout waves REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education Bachelor’s degree in: Supply Chain Business Administration Information Systems Engineering or related field Experience 7+ years of project management experience in: Supply chain Warehouse operations Enterprise IT implementations Hands-on experience with: WMS / OMS deployments Strong preference for: Manhattan Active WMS / OMS Experience managing: Multi-site rollouts / large-scale transformations 3PL or contract logistics experience is a plus CORE SKILLS & COMPETENCIES Functional Knowledge Warehouse operations: Receiving, Putaway, Picking, Packing, Shipping Inventory control & returns Systems integration: APIs, EDI, middleware, customer connectivity Technical & Tools Project management tools: MS Project Smartsheet Jira or equivalent Strong scheduling, dependency tracking, and execution governance Leadership & Soft Skills Ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority Strong communication and stakeholder management skills High attention to detail with proactive problem-solving Ability to perform under pressure during cutover and go-live phases Strong collaboration and influencing skills WHY JOIN THIS OPPORTUNITY?
