ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager with ERP Transformation experience (Oracle Fusion Cloud) for our Ottawa based client. This is a 3.5-month, hybrid/remote contract role. Preference will be given to candidates who can attend occasional, onsite stakeholder meetings; however, fully remote candidates will also be considered. Our client is a leader in the healthcare sector and offers a challenging work environment as well as work/life balance.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Project Leadership & Team Management: Direct the efforts of a diverse project team, bringing together business leaders, IT specialists, and external advisors to foster a collaborative environment focused on achieving project milestones and outcomes
  • Strategic Planning & Roadmap Development: Drive the creation of a future operating model and define the scope, architecture, and desired outcomes of the ERP transformation. Translate high-level goals into actionable plans, ensuring clarity and structure throughout the project lifecycle
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate and facilitate workshops and working sessions to gather input from major business domains including Finance, Procurement, Human Resources, Supply Chain, and Digital Solutions partners. Promote transparent communication to confirm requirements and achieve stakeholder alignment. Provide consistent project status updates and communications to stakeholders and executive leadership
  • Model and Framework Development: Oversee the development of critical project models, including the shared ERP solution, delivery and resourcing models, partner financial frameworks, and governance structures to support effective project execution and sustained value
  • Resource Allocation & Coordination: Identify and secure resources necessary for successful implementation. Clearly define roles and responsibilities to optimize team performance and accountability
  • Change & Risk Management: Lead the design of a comprehensive change management strategy, anticipating challenges and minimizing disruption. Establish mechanisms to monitor risks, ensuring timely mitigation and adaptability
  • Outcome Delivery: Align all deliverables—including business cases, statements of work, financial models, and governance frameworks—with executive expectations and project objectives. Maintain a focus on quality, timeliness, and measurable impact throughout the initiative
