Job Description We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Project Manager - Design to join our dynamic team in Doha, Qatar. In this pivotal role, you will lead and oversee complex design projects, ensuring their successful execution from conception to completion. As a key member of our organization, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage resources, and drive innovation in our design processes. Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets for large-scale design initiatives Lead and motivate cross-functional design teams, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence Manage client relationships, ensuring clear communication of project goals, progress, and deliverables Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept development to final implementation Identify and mitigate potential risks, developing contingency plans as needed Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables Implement and maintain project management best practices and methodologies Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to quality standards, timelines, and budgets Facilitate effective communication between team members, clients, and other stakeholders Conduct regular project status meetings and prepare comprehensive reports for senior management Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in design processes Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Design, Business Administration, or a related field 7+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on design-related projects Proven track record of successfully delivering complex design initiatives Strong proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) Expertise in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma Proficient in project management tools like JIRA, Trello, or Microsoft Project Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams Outstanding communication and presentation skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Demonstrated experience in budget management and resource allocation Solid understanding of design principles, processes, and current trends Knowledge of user-centered design approaches Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred Additional design-related certifications (e.g., UX/UI certifications) are a plus Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Willingness to travel occasionally, as required by project needs Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
