Job Description Role Overview We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of multidisciplinary design consultancy projects across all stages, from concept through to detailed design and tender support. This is a client-facing leadership role requiring strong commercial acumen, the ability to manage complex stakeholder environments, and oversight of both internal design teams and external subconsultants. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring project performance, client satisfaction, and alignment with business objectives. Key Responsibilities Project Leadership & Delivery Lead and manage projects across all design stages (Concept, Schematic, Detailed Design, IFC, Tender Support) Develop and maintain project execution plans, schedules, and resource strategies Ensure coordination across internal disciplines (Architecture, Structural, MEP, etc.) Oversee and manage the performance of external subconsultants Client & Stakeholder Management Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and alignment Lead client meetings, presentations, and progress reviews Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including government entities and authorities Ensure timely resolution of client comments and project-related issues Commercial Management Take ownership of project budgets, financial performance, and profitability Monitor project costs, resource utilization, and billing Lead or support fee negotiations, variations, and contractual matters Identify risks and opportunities, ensuring proactive commercial management Team Leadership Provide leadership and direction to multidisciplinary project teams Ensure effective collaboration between internal teams and external parties Mentor and support the development of junior team members Quality & Compliance Ensure deliverables meet required quality standards and client expectations Maintain compliance with local regulations, codes, and authority requirements Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes Qualifications Qualifications & Experience Minimum 10 years of experience in project management within design consultancy, architecture, or engineering environments Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related discipline Mandatory registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers Project Management Institute PMP certification is desirable Proven track record of delivering complex, multidisciplinary projects in Saudi Arabia Strong understanding of local regulations, codes, and approval processes Business Line: Energy and Sustainable Cities Type of contract: Permanent contract Service Line: Architecture Region: Middle East and South Asia Job Family: Project Management - Engineering
