Project Details Client: Leading international healthcare group Location: Europe Work mode: Full remote (CET time zone) Start date: ASAP Duration: 12 months Extension possibility: Not expected Languages: English (mandatory), French and/or Spanish (a plus) Team setup: Individual contributor, working closely with Digital Finance leadership and external partners Contract type: Freelance / External Workforce Project Summary You will lead a Digital Finance transformation project focused on the implementation of a Digital Close solution within the Account-to-Report (A&R) domain. The project aims to modernize and standardize financial close processes through the deployment of a SaaS solution, ensuring strong governance, efficient execution, and alignment between business, IT, and external partners. This is a high-visibility initiative requiring senior project leadership, strong stakeholder management, and a solid understanding of finance close processes. Main Responsibilities & Key Activities Lead the end-to-end implementation of a Digital Close solution within the Account-to-Report domain Drive project governance, planning, execution, and delivery milestones Coordinate multiple stakeholders, including a SaaS provider, a system integrator, and internal finance and digital teams Prepare and lead governance meetings, status reporting, and escalation management Ensure prioritization of tasks and resources based on business impact and urgency Anticipate risks, dependencies, and impacts related to finance processes and data Experience Required 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager delivering complex digital or finance transformation projects Proven experience managing multi-stakeholder environments with external vendors Strong background in governance, reporting, and executive-level communication Prior experience in Digital Finance, Record-to-Report, or Financial Close projects is highly desirable Experience in large, international organizations Education Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
