We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with proven experience gained within a construction consultancy setting, and specifically with a prior focus on projects within the Education or Higher Education sectors.
Our team has significantly grown in the last few years and is continuing to attract high performing individuals looking to progress their career and work on bespoke and interesting projects.

As a Senior Project Manager joining our team, here’s what you’ll do:

  • Manage one or more moderately complex projects, involving a combination of the following:
  • Administer the NEC4 suite of contracts
  • Clients with a regional geographic footprint; OR,
  • Projects involving multiple services provided by regional IE offices; OR,
  • May manage all phases of projects (from beginning to close out).
  • Works mostly independently but receives basic instruction on specific assignments, objectives, complex features and possible solutions.
  • Receives technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval on proposed plans for projects.
  • May supervise: senior level engineers (all disciplines applicable), as well as project administration, project controls, scheduling, cost control, estimating and procurement representatives.

READY TO PUSH THE LIMITS OF WHAT’S POSSIBLE?

Here’s what we’re looking for:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • You will ideally be from a consultancy or client organisation with the ability to successfully support and lead construction projects within the Education and Higher Education sectors.
  • Pre and post contract design /project management expertise over the RIBA lifecycle
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • NEC4 Contract Administration (Accreditation a positive)
  • Maintain accurate project records (both paper and electronic)
  • Robust Stakeholder Management process

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Academic Qualification – ideally Project Management/ Construction/Engineering/Quantity Surveying Master’s Degree
  • NEC 3/4 accreditation
  • Chartered Status with the RICS, CIOB, RIBA, ICE or other equivalent institution
  • APM affiliation preferred (as secondary accreditation)
