Description

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing large complex projects, end-to-end, to ensure the effective project delivery of solutions and services to all stakeholders. The job holder will also be responsible for ensuring that individual projects are successfully monitored, documented, tracked, reported, integrated, and implemented. Project Scope Establishes and gains agreement on the definition and scope of the project and associated methodologies with the various stakeholders to facilitate the planning and execution of schedules that are consistent with overall project objectives. Ensures that all projects managed remain integrated and aligned with the programme objective and all policies and procedures set in consideration with the organization’s guidelines. Monitors the progress of all project activities on an ongoing basis and provides regular reports to the project team, management, and other stakeholders to keep them appraised of project progress and raises issues that require resolution. Undertakes project ‘health checks’ to ensure projects are delivered in alignment with the organisation’s enterprise architecture, strategy, and project management methodologies. Develops and tracks multiple projects including schedules, cost estimates, resource plans, communication plans, risk mitigation plans and issue resolution plans. Monitors and controls project to ensure projects adherence to the assigned project budgets. Interacts with the customers to ensure deliverables are in line with their expectations and to resolve any queries or concerns that they may have Project Coordination Co-ordinates activities across the various Units and with external resources and suppliers to ensure an understanding of needs and to provide expert technical advice and guidance Bachelor’s Degree in computer sciences / IT / Engineering Project Management Professional or equivalent project management certification essential Minimum 12 – 15 years of experience in a similar environment
